Ainsdale Community Care
The Ainsdale Community Care Scheme was established at Ainsdale Methodist Church during the early 1980s for the benefit of the community and is not restricted to members of the church.
The objectives of the programme are:
To operate a Senior Citizens' Lunch Club, a Welcome Centre, outings and other leisure and learning activities which include weekly dancing
To provide a meals delivery service for local housebound residents.
To provide neighbourhood care by responding to needs as and when they arise.
To give support to unemployed people with learning difficulties who contribute to the work of the luncheon club as volunteers.
